Who do I think I am?

In June 2012 my first book Letters From Heaven Love Mom xo was published πŸ˜€ I am now officially a published author!

People often refer to me as a…..hmmm….come to think of it, I don’t think they have a word for it yet.Β  They do marvel about “the bubble I live in where rainbows and blue skies reign”. I have no sense of organization, direction, or time. I live in what I refer to as “the house of chaos”. How I get through each day is a mystery to most of the people who know me personally. I see myself as a free spirit, and I love living life flying by the seat of my pants. I proudly take on each day as a brand new challenge.Β  I wouldn’t change the way I am…most days anyways πŸ˜€

I am passionate about touching people’s hearts and providing new perspectives. I love to write about my spiritual journey, the lessons I learn along the way, finding the humor in every day life, and anything that pulls at the heartstrings. I love making people cry. In a good way! Come on! My intention with this blog is to to help YOU recognize and fully embrace YOUR awesomeness!!

Letters from Heaven Love Mom X0 is a compilation of short letters written in the form of a mother angel guiding her children lovingly through the challenges and lessons that life presents every day.It provides the reader with a sense of comfort through its demonstration of a bond so intimate that it cannot be severed – even in death.

Random Facts:

I am a mother of 3. I live in Ontario, Canada. I love pink jelly beans. I can wiggle my ears…rare talent, but totally true. My husband and I dated when we were 14. We’ve been married since 1998. He makes me crazy but I love him anyways. I make him crazy but he loves me anyways. I have a fear of commitment – appointments stress me out, booking anything really, I mean how do I know the exact moment I will want to do anything??? I read at least 3 books at a time (can’t commit to one!). I moved out of my parents home before I was 16 years old on a quest to find myself…and here I was the whole time πŸ™‚ I am only a good cook when I am armed with a good recipe. My daughter has me programmed into her phone as “The Hippie”. I am an avid fundraiser for the Arthritis Society – my son was diagnosed 2 years ago with JA when he was 9. There are 8 people I consider my best friends. I don’t talk to all of them every day, I don’t see them overly often, but I know they are thereΒ  for me and they know that I am there for them. I have been known to pee my pants in a fit of laughter on occasion. My kids take care of me as much as I take care of them. My kids are my greatest gifts and I am grateful for them always. My idol is Debra Poneman. At the end of my life I want to know that I have inspired and / or empowered 1.5 million people. I once broke my toe singing karaoke. I’ve run out of gas at least 4 times in my life so far. It gives me a rush to see how far an empty tank will take me. I regularly suffer with insomnia, but that might just be because the most quiet hours of the day are in the middle of the night…I kind of love the peace it brings. I cherish every moment of sleep. I love in a huge way, and only recently, I’ve learned to receive love back. I am a social butterfly who needs a lot of time to myself. My blog is my latest addiction. I’ve stuck with it for over a year now. Look at me, practically committed… πŸ˜€

This is my first visit, however I enjoy your gentle approach to helping people realize their own awesomeness. That’s why I blog as well, and why I write.

Keep up the great work! I look forward to reading more. I’d love to hear what you think about my awesomeness awareness site, and if you know of any others, I would love to know about them too!

My first visit here. I feel almost comfortable. You certainly can make a person feel that way, which is an incredibly difficult thing to do. I intend to read everything you’ve written and the best part is I know I will come out being a better person. I write too. Mostly poems. I am quite cynical though. Perhaps you will have a mellowing effect on me. I’m quite a bit older than you are, but I am told I am young at heart. (By the people I allow to know that I have a heart.) It isn’t something I wear on my sleeve. I guess I have been most inspired by the great Dorothy Parker. And believe me, it shows.
Anyway I just wanted to say, “Great job!” and I’ll be back.<3
